Western Growers Association’s mission is to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of our members and lead our members and the fresh produce industry toward a healthy, sustainable, and profitable future. Our staff is dedicated to our common purpose, and they work heart and soul to maintain our position of leadership in the agriculture industry.
For 97 years, Western Growers has been dedicated to understanding our members’ needs in order to provide tailored solutions, resources, services, and guidance – including state and federal lobbying, affordable health benefits, food safety leadership and training, crop protection, human resources, legal & H-2A services, PACA support, and more. We are here to satisfy one mission: to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of our members.
Western Growers University offers professional development and training programs tailored specifically to those working in the agriculture industry. In a landscape that is challenged with recruitment, retention and turnover issues, WGU provides you with a way to engage your workforce and develop a team that wants to grow, thrive, and stay. WG members have access to both in-person and online training.
Western Growers believes that women are essential to the dynamic future of agriculture, which is why we offer WG Women, a program that prepares women for positions of leadership within the fresh produce industry. WG Women provides a wealth of networking events and educational opportunities to its members, including courses in executive leadership skills, social media and traditional media training.
Western Growers is the strongest voice western agriculture has…Especially in the last 10 years, the leadership at Western Growers has performed at the highest level…My brother and I are very appreciative of everything Western Growers does.
